Back to the hot & sunny island...
Sad.
I'm missing him...
the counting down starts again... 4 months
*depressed*

The day passes by slowly today, unlike in Brisbane the day was so short
and night falls soon after.
If i can have unlimited supply of memory card,
I will snap every seconds of our life together so that every moments can be captured and remembered. So that I can run the photos and watch the movie of us; then perhaps i wont miss you that much.

Anyway, there are lots of photos to post up especially those taken during the 9 days of
road trip. We traveled with 11 others from Brisbane to ...

Port Mackerie
...
Hunter Valley
...
Blue Mountain (Sydney)
...
Jenolan Caves
...
Sydney
...
Pass Canberra
...
Mount Buller (Melbourne)
...
Melbourne
...
Apollo Bay (Great Ocean Road)

Last stop at Melbourne

Our journey started at 12am on 27th, driving overnight and arriving at Port Mackerie
in the morning. Ate breakfast there and went for a short sightseeing tour around the town before heading down to Hunter Valley to get some nice cheap wines.

After which we continue traveling south towards Blue Mountain and only managed to checked in at 10 plus at the YHA backpackers (4stars!! The best of all backpackers so far!).
Stayed over only for the night; went to see the Three Sisters and Jenolan Caves (limestone Caves) the very next morning. Blue Mountain was a beautiful town, really love the place; the weather was cold and foggy but the central was bustling with life at the cafes and shops.

Left the caves at 5plus after a cave tour that took an hour. We quickly made our way to Sydney and had a terrible time finding the direction to our backpackers as half the roads at Sydney prevent drivers from making right turns. Also, the backpackers was located deep inside the road with a small banner far from obscure eyes and the place was poorly lit.

Despite arriving at ungodly hours, i still managed to meet up with Johanna at 12ish; we went over to the Pancake House at The Rock with some of the guys.
The next day, we toured around Sydney doing some shopping while the rest visited the Harbour Bridge and Opera House.
We moved off from Sydney YHA at 3am that morning and headed towards Mount Buller.
It was a long drive but we managed to reach Buller at close to 2pm. We rented snow boots and wheel chains for the cars in case the car skid off during the drive if it snows heavily. We didnt use the wheel chains in the end.
We had a great hell of a time at Mt Buller, its my first time seeing snow so it was really incredible and beautiful. As we went higher up, the place started snowing gently; we took the chair lift up to the peak of Mount Buller and had specks of snow hitting against our face. It was really painful but fun, as our legs are dangling in midair as we travel up. Surprisingly i wasn't afirad of the heights while taking the chair lift, I guess i was too cold and numb to feel the butterflies in my tummy.
Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time to ski and had to leave shortly after that.
We grab a quick dinner and drive all the way to Melbourne. We stayed at Urban Central (Dont go there, it has pretty sucky customer service) for one night before checking out the next day to drive to Apollo Bay.
Apollo bay is along the Great Ocean Road but we didnt have enough time to finish the 12 Apostles and the rest of the attraction sites for the day. Instead, we went to explore the Otway National Park. The most awesome and beautiful backpackers that i have stayed at during the trip is at Apollo Bay's Eco YHA beach house.
The place doesn't even look like a backpackers from the outside; it looks like a semi-detached house, with a big kitchen facing the road. It has a cosy and comfortable fireplace/living room
and a separate large room to watch tv on the other wing.
The toilets are equipped with music systems that plays soothing music when someone is inside, and they provide sweet-smelling flavored hand wash soup for every toilet. A pity that we were only staying there for the night.
Anywae, we went to the nearest supermarket to shop for groceries as we decided to stay in and cook dinner. There was a total of 3 cars for the trip and every car will come up with 2 dishes to prepare for dinner. I came up with a dish of iceberg lettuces and omelette eggs with onions for my car.
The preparation of dinner told us 2 hours and we only managed to settle down to eat at around 915pm.

The next day we left early in the morning at 8am for our Ocean Road trip, and initially we wanted to head down to MacKenzie Fall at Gampian National Park (which Andrew & I have visited during the last trip) but by the time we finish off with all the sight seeing, it was too late to head down, we headed back to Melbourne instead.

Melbourne was the last stop for the road trip, we stayed there for another 2 nights.
Went to Crown Casino on both nights and did some shopping during the day; however alot of time was wasted on traveling to Smith Street etc, most of us just stayed in the city or at the DFO for shopping. There was absolutely not enough time to shop.

Taken up at Mount Buller

Random pictures taken during the trip

Will upload more photos soon...

I wanted to extend my stay in Aust for another few weeks, however it was too late as there wasn't anymore seats left on the flight back until after end August.
*Sigh*

Really want to spend our 2nd year together..once again it wont happen...
