All my bags are packed I'm ready to goI'm sitting here in front of my computerI hate to leave my cozy roomI'm leaving on a commercial planeDon't know when I'll be back againOh baby, I want to go...Haa my own version of
" Leaving on the Jetplane"Kept singing this song while packing my stuff today.
Beautiful lyrics.
Finally the taste of freedom has sunken in.
Was working the last part of last week for the gallery in preparation of the
exhibition; pretty quiet as compared to the last that i co-organized.
And so unofficially, last Saturday was my last day at work.
Been meeting up with various groups of friends as well during the week.
Met up with Melissa for a short shopping trip down Orchard Road,
and we both got a pair of shoe. I got a patent black ballerina flats for comfort walking
when I'm in Aust and she grabbed a pair of Charles & Keith heels.
Watched the movie
Next starring Nicholas Cage and Jessica Biel.
I think the plot of the show was interestingly different, but the ending could have been better.
Macadamian Nut Journey; with Strawberry Cheezecake and Belgium Chocolate
Our sugary sweet night out!
On Sunday, I met up with the NYP girls in the evening and we went to
Minds Cafe;
where you could enjoy dinner while playing boardgames. Pretty cool and relaxing place to go especially with friends, but not when you are sat beside a group of rowdy and loud
gamers.
Thankfully, they have three levels and you could reside to a quieter and more peaceful table
when the worst situation occurs.
So we played this
Compatibility game; really fun and interesting. It tests you on how well you know your friends, in terms of what they are thinking when a certain topic comes up.
And some really twisted thoughts or interpretation from one/some of your friend's choice of cards.
And we also played the Singapore version of
Monopoly and i must say that luck is really important when it comes to this game, or even anything that we handle in our lives. Not only that, it is critical that we have a head start in it too. So well i don't know if my luck was good or bad, cause i was lucky enough to roll double many times on separate occasions, but that also led me straight to jail! Yep they couldn't help laughing and teasing me after that, but i think thats the fun part of it; when you are enjoying special moments like these with your close friends.
I really do like the feeling of meeting up with a certain group of friends occasionally in a month and throughout the year.
The part of life after graduation/ school that makes everything feels wonderful.
Though i hope that i can find passion in my career as well.
Anyway, i met up with mel again on Monday to buy the stuff needed for my trip. The latest regulation by CAAS really sucks.
Went to get other matters settled and met up with Jac & Gai for dinner at New York New York.
Looks like they have improved quite a bit on their food and service standards. I love their Turkey served with cranberry sauce sandwich. Its so yummy!
Maybe i can whip it up for baby too. Haa~
I suggested to go Minds Cafe again with the girls, and i had a great time playing the Monopoly! Haha my cravings for it has finally been satisfied.
We forgot to take pictures in the cafe so managed to snap a bit before we part our ways.

There are so many things that I have planned to do when I'm away on my trip.
(1) To explore the smaller town areas and the uncovered lands on my own, since he will be busy studying and it will be better for him to focus when I'm not around. (2) To brush up on learning my French; I have even rip the lessons onto my mp3, anytime on the go!(3) To relax and enjoy my freedom (away from school and part time work) while it last!I love my sis! I hope you get well fast!
