Channel 5 was showing "The Last Samurai" in the evening,
Tom Cruise was the leading actor.
I didn't get to watch the whole show but snippets of it, and I think
its a really good and inspiring show.
No wonder it was nominated for 4 Oscars
and have 15 other wins.
Dad got a new hand phone, the N73 series...
But i think he wasn't very pleased with his buy because it brought to him some
discomfort when using; the keypad was small and it wasn't as user-friendly as
he expected.
The phone has too many functions and thus alot of it were compartmentalized.
But he probably feel the pinch of getting another phone after spending 300+ for this, but with
the trade-in of the phone i got for him; so he only paid 100+.
But dad is a very thrifty person, it has been worst when he tries his best to provide for
all our needs; thus minimizing any spending on himself.
I do hope i can get a job quickly so I can ease his burdens and hopefully make
his life more comfortable and in tune with the society.
But Im too picky in the companies that I hope to get into.
I think its because of my principles; that we should engage in a career that we have passion
in and is motivated to contribute in it.
Life is already so complicated and hard, and many a times disappointing,
I think it can only be fulfilling if we can do something we like for the next few decades of our lives. Though it is sad that, that thought itself is too idealistic.
Lucky are those who have the capabilities; in terms of intelligence,money, looks and connections.
Makes me have so many regrets...
Majority of them get an easier way into the job they want.
Sigh~
Oh thanks Chris for offering me a ride to Toa Payoh stadium on Saturday!
I was waiting for the bus at the bus stop and suddenly a car pulled over; it was Chris in his "new" car, he was nice and sweet to offer me a ride despite it being a totally different directions from where he is heading.
Waiting for my ANTM...

We know life's hard, truth is hard, lies are hard, they are all hard to accept when they have been
found out, and i'm rushing history homework on the Abyissian Crisis about Italy and Abyssia going into war and that the League Of Nations cannot stop this from happening, and beacuse they are formed by means to stop war and
peace-keep the countries together, they have thus failed to achieve that. I think i tend to hold a class for history instead of telling you about me, i'm basically a what subject-realted lover (humanities) and thus
I am more analytical and critical about things, and likes to study about dead people, haha. lol. it's history what can you expect and also geography, it amazes me. I really like it alot, so what have you? Again to find this answer

it's amazing. amzing how people change the way of things, like how I used to hate outdoors in Band
felt it was a complete waste of time, i've acquired to like it more, i guess people change, their thereotical means and applications in life just goes on into a new direction, and see things in another perspective, i guess- it's
all in the mind. It really amazes me how these comes into action, from someone so pessimistic has changed his own view of things, and thus my friend is scoring much better, being more optimisitc and not think of his old way of suicidal
thoughts, which are pretty daunting. and thus we need to see things, in another light, another perspective and another new way, to enable us to open up our minds, and make more new things, the new way it is.
